I Heart Brunch

Few things scream America to me like a good brunch. Growing up it was a loved & grand tradition in our house. Even before I was old enough to partake in the joys of mimosa or a bloody mary, I loved the pancakes and eggs and the general feeling of bliss and friendship that a nice brunch can create amongst friends and family. Today I had the pleasure of revisiting an old haunt with my parents and little ones. Growing up in Atlanta, Murphy's was the place we had brunch, if we dared to have it outside of our own house. My parents loved it so much they named one of their beloved dogs Murphy. It's bigger than it was back in the day, with complimentary valet and a 45 minute wait, but I must say it was worth the wait. Located in the Virginia Highlands area of Atlanta, you can grab a drink at the bar or walk around the adorable shops while you wait. We popped across the street and took the kids to Wired & Fired to paint while we waited. All in all a perfect Sunday brunch shared with loved ones. Who could ask for anything more?
